Zoe loves spending time with her daddy outside. He takes her on a walk every night before bedtime. A couple days ago it was raining so they couldn't go on a walk so they just sat out on the front porch.
Yesterday Zoe and I spent a day with our friends. They have these kid size recliners that Zoe loves to sit in by herself. I guess it makes her feel big.

Cruisin' Down The River
Sunday evening all the church staff took a cruise on the intercostal waterway. It was a lot of fun. This little boy latched on to Jon. It was pretty funny. 
This is Zoe with Juanita. Juanita is Zoe's babysitter and a good friend of ours.

Zoe went into the nursary at church for the first time Saturday night. Jon and I took her in and dropped her off and she seemed fine. About 10 minutes into the service my pager went off that they had given me. So of course I ran to the nursary. She was screaming her head off. She pulled out the real tears and everything. So needless to say I had to stay the rest of the time in there with her. I think it will take a couple of weeks for her to get used to it. She has kind of got a little attached to mommy.

Nothin' Like my Pacies
I was trying to clean my house today, but Zoe decided she was only going to take what we call "grandpa Hood" naps. aka little fifteen minute power naps. Anyways, she is tired and grumpy and wants to be held so I thought I'd blog while she is sitting on my lap.
Zoe likes to hold onto her pacifiers but gets mad when she pulls them out and can't get them back in. Though I must say she is getting pretty close and has done it a time or two. Anyway she was trying to go to sleep this morning and had pulled it out. She was almost asleep when I went in to check on her so instead of making her mad by taking the paci out of her hand I just popped in another one. So this is what she looked like when she fell asleep.

Oh Great, She's a morning person
Today was my day off so I was watching Zoe today so Jess could have some time to herself. Zoe and I went shopping at Best Buy and Toys R Us. After She got up from her morning nap she was all smiles as I got her dressed. So here is our little girl all smiles!

A New Milestone
Zoe is doing new things everyday. This past week she began eating rice cereal. Of course my little piggy loved it. You can tell she enjoys getting it all over her as well as in her mouth. As expected she has an independant streak. She was always grabing the spoon so now she has her own spoon to hold and she does pretty well feeding herself air. LOL
