Tummy time, Mr. Bunny and Big Girl Stroller

We started giving Zoe this bunny so where ever we went she would always have something familiar. She is getting pretty attached to it.

Zoe now likes to ride in her big girl stroller. It makes me a little sad because she looks like such a big girl.

Playing with friends

We have made some great friends. Zoe loves her friends Isaiah, Eli, Carmen and Jesse.

Zoe and Isaiah.

Carmen and Zoe are great buds

All Smiles!

As you can see Zoe loves to smile now. Of course this brings great joy to her mommy and daddy. We think she has a smile that lights up the room. She sometimes even laughs at her daddy's jokes which is more than her mommy does!

Mothers Day

Here is a video I made for Mothers Day at our church. I was a little sceptical of the concept but thought it came together nicely. The kids voices are a little soft but I thought it was pretty good.
Not to brag or anything. . .

Update on Life

Jess and I are still doing the same old same oh.
Jess went to the Dr. and got the ok to start exercising. Which she was very excited about. She is also enjoying shopping again, now that she can look at clothes that aren't for pregnant people. :-)

I'm settling into my job. It's a big learning curve going into a new place. Especially when you are in charge. Within my first 2 weeks about half my volunteers quit, that was fun! But i'm rebuilding the team and it's going very well.

Well I guess that's about it, oh wait, you probably only read the above thinking maybe there was something in there about Zoe.
So here's what you have been waiting for, an update on the "monster".

She now weighs 10 pounds 7 ounces and has grown and inch and a half. She is turning into quite the chunk!
She is really a happy baby. She smiles a lot and at about anyone. She let's everyone at church hold her and really likes. She will probably be more of a people person than me for sure!
She is doing very well sleeping at night. She goes down at about 8:30 and only wakes up twice. And for just long enough to eat and then she goes right back to sleep. She isn't doing to well on her naps though. She doesn't want to miss anything and does not like going down for naps!
Zoe told us yesterday that she is very excited to meet the rest of my family and to fly on an airplane! :-)

Anyway, there you have it. An update.
I know, I know, where are the pics? We will post more soon . . . hopefully.

She looks like her Daddy

Everyone has been asking me who Zoe looks like. Well, after seeing this picture I think it's pretty clear.

Giving kisses to her daddy.

Ode to the Hairbow

Jon doesn't like the big hairbows on Zoe's head. I dress her up, put them on, take a picture and that's that.

First Dip in the Ocean

Zoe has been to the beach many times but this week she actually got her toes in. We didn't take any pictures of the actual event but at least we got pictures of her stylin' in her sunglasses and hat.

First Trip to the Park

Zoe had her first trip to the park this week. As you can tell she really enjoyed it! LOL

First "Real" Bath

Zoe had her first real bath this week. Her cord had fallen off last week but we hadn't had a chance to give her a bath when Jon could be there. Needless to say we wern't that prepared because we didn't even have a bathtub. As you can tell by the pictures she really loved it. It was a much better experience than the sponge baths she had been receiving!

Murray Family

Zoe Meets More Family

My sister Rachael and her family were here this week. We had lots of fun visiting with them. Zoe loved her cousins. She pretty much let them do anything to her.

Brittany got to feed Zoe.

Chad would hold Zoe and tell me, "Aunt Jae, your baby's sweet. I like your baby!"

Brooklynn had to check out Zoe's swing.

Brooklynn loved Zoe. Every time I fed her she wanted to come and hold her hand. If I didn't have her with me, Brooklynn would get very concerned and want to know where the baby was.
